Holiday Parties

Brandon and I had soooo much fun helping at both boys holiday parties this year. I think the "theme" for both parties was "see how many silly pictures we can take"....I have tons of silly pics of the kids and adults. We left school early after the parties to start our Christmas break. I love when I get to have all 3 boys at home with me :)

Thanksgiving Feast - K & G

I think I was so caught up having fun that I barely took any pics of Kadon and Garner's Thanksgiving feasts at school.....I know I tried to get pics of Garner, but he would not be still long enough, they were all too blurry. We had fun though and it was a crazy busy day. Each kid had their feast at lunch time, the book fair was going on and 3rd grade had their campaign speeches. Kadon was running for city council in his class and made it! Woot woot!!! We are so proud of him. He worked so hard writing and memorizing his speech, it was 1 1/2 pages long and he had it memorized in 2 days. He rocked the speech in front of the his class and all of the parents....even I would have been a nervous wreck, but he did amazing! His slogan was "Don't be lousy, vote for Krause"....he is just like his daddy ;)

It is so embarrassing that I am JUST NOW posting pics from the 1st day of school. Um, hello....what in the world is wrong with me?!?!

They both are loving school and their teachers. Garner has the same teacher Kadon had in 1st grade, which makes all of us happy...she is absolutely amazing!!! I am beyond busy being room mom for both boys again this year and I have some great friends helping me =) We are all looking forward to a very fun school year!

Last day of Kinder & 2nd grade......

 I was super emotional about school ending. That only happens when the kids have amazing teachers that I love to pieces...and this year they both did! They both had such a great year and I love watching them grow and learn. So long Kinder and 2nd grade, hello 1st and 3rd!

Garner's Kinder Graduation...

 Sweet little Nar Nar graduated from Kinder! I can't believe he even old enough to go to school, much less already be graduating kindergarten. This year has flown by and he has blown us away! He was always my little homebody baby, he just always wanted to be home with his mama, but we have seen him blossom and grow so much this year. He had the most amazing teacher and I am so very thankful for her! She was an absolute perfect match for him :) She was very patient with his boyish ways and guided him in the right direction in such a loving manner. We have already prepped her about having Porter in a few years ;)

 If I hadn't had vertigo that morning I probably would have been pretty emotional, but waking up with that crap really threw my day off! I could barely get the kids ready for school, had to call a friend {Cindy of course} to take the kids to school, the Hubs had to come straight home from work and take me to the doctor. All offices were booked, so we went to urgent care. There was NO way in hell I was missing Garner's graduation...vertigo or not I was determined. Got some meds, took a nap, threw myself together in 20 minutes and was off. I held up pretty well, we went and ate afterwards, then I took a 3 hour nap once we got home. I was dizzy, exhausted and had a terrible headache. Couldn't have been more proud of my little guy though =)

Field Day 2012

Field Day is a big deal around here....lot of prep work goes into it...especially when you are room mom x2!!! I feel guilty because I only have pics of Kadon's class at field day and not Garner's. There are 2 reasons for that.....1) My fabulous friend Cindy is a photographer and already had her camera out, Garner and her son are BFF's 2) We {Cindy and I} were a teensy bit hungover! We had to fill about 200 water balloons the night before, so we brought the whole family over to their house and us two couples filled balloons while the kids played. We may have drank champagne while we filled balloons, then a friend may have joined us, and we may have finished a second bottle of champagne. Maybe. Just sayin'. It was a fabulous time and we stayed over way too late! Field Day and swimsuits were the only reason I got my kids out of bed. Hell, that may have been the only reason I got out of bed, otherwise we may have all played hooky. So. Tired. It was a blast though. But, because of a mom fail I still have to get the pics from of for Garner and Ben's (BFF's) class.
