14 months

How did this sweet Monkey get to be 14 months??? Geez. He is growing and learning so much so fast!

He

• started taking steps right before his bday (even showed off his new skills at his party) and has not slowed down since!
• mastered coming down the stairs (learned how to go up at about 9 months)
• LOVES our puppies...does NOT like anyone else's pups. He will kiss on them, pet them (rather rough at times), feed them LOTS of food, and pull Shoeshine's tail :)
• is a dancing king...he gets that from his Mama. The boy will dance almost every time he hears music...too funny!
• likes to be naked (go figure)
• LOVES to brush his teeth!!!!
• being outside is his favorite place, especially if he gets to play with the water hose
• is already in the "Mine!" phase without actually saying the word
• tries to wrestle with his Bubbas and Daddy...it is too cute for words
• is going to eat us out of house and home! My goodness this boy can eat. He is very picky about his baby food too. I tried making his food and he couldn't handle the texture (gets that from Mom and Dad) He likes the organic pouches, not jars. There is not much the boy won't eat....Favs are bananas, blackberries, grapes, avocado, chicken, broccoli, and mashed potatoes
• does not drink juice...only water. This makes Mama very happy!
• still nurses and has (proudly) never had cows milk :)
• is sleeping in his room as of 13 months and has done absolutely wonderful transitioning. He didn't cry at all and went from nursing all night (I am a human binky ya know) in mine and Brandon's bed to sleeping in his ALL night long from the 1st night. I was one HAPPY mama! I do miss my snuggle bug though....
• no new words yet, but he is doing great with the sign language and is so cute doing it
• has his 4 top teeth, 2 bottoms, and 1 molar cut through, but just a little corner
• is 21lb 14oz (I don't remember his length)

Our little Porter is such a cutie....he is FULL of personality and he is always making us laugh. I can only imagine what he will be like in a year or two.
