Chicago Trip with my Lover

Brandon and I just went on our first trip alone...away! Craziness, I know.
We had a blast once we got there....I did have a minor panic attack/emotional meltdown "moment" on the plane to Chicago due to major turbulence....I hate flying and was anxiety ridden nervous about leaving my boys for the 1st time.
It was fast and too short, but we were also ready to come home and see our babies. We don't have any pics from the 1st day/wedding. It was a whirlwind of a weekend. Chicago is an amazing city with SOOO much to do. We need a few more weekends there for sure. We crammed as much into 1 1/2 days as we could {1/2 of Saturday went to the wedding}. So now when we go back we know where and how to spend the time better to enjoy more. I will certainly shop on Michigan Ave again...even though Austin has most of the same stores. It was still fun :)
Lake Michigan was so pretty...it looked like the ocean, not a lake. The water was actually pretty and there were waves. We hadn't ever seen a lake have waves like that.
We also want to take the kids some time because Navy Pier was awesome for families. There is so much for them to do!
A BIG thanks to Grammie for watching the boys for us while we were gone. They had a great time! Porter did great and only whined a few times for me in the morning and at bed time. Never really full out cried, which was a relief to me. He clung to me like crazy after we got home though...wouldn't really let Grammie near him LOL

We did get to experience our first crazy flight delay and it totally blew! Guess that is the way it goes though.

96 floors! It was trippy and awesome at the same time. I am not a fan of heights.

We did this tower because the Sears Tower has such a crazy wait time and is almost as tall. It  was worth it!

We loved Millennium Park...so beautiful! Would love to spend more time there.
