We started a tradition of taking a family trip of some kind for Mother's Day & Father's Day when Kadon was born. We have only missed a few here and there. To me, Mother's Day is not about me having the day to myself or getting pampered at the spa. {Not that those things don't sound lovely! They do, believe me!} I want to spend my Mother's Day doing something fun with my family, making memories. I can get a pedi any time, special family trips/traditions are the good stuff.
This year we went to Great Wolf Lodge....it just might be our favorite place! We will go there at least once or twice a year. It is so much fun....and you need a good nap when you are done because you are pooped! When Porter is bigger we will go for more than one night, but for now that is about all he can handle ;)
